California and Lake Tahoe

Comments(0)Over years of taking holidays and short breaks at hotels, bed and breakfast and holiday cottages I have come to the conclusion that vacation rentals give the kind of flexibility that I need when I go on holiday. Who wants to ift into someone else’s schedule when they go away? Most of us spend all year doing that, and if the hotel stops serving breakfast at 9am that is no good to me. In a cottage or cabin we can decide when to eat, and we do not have to worry about disturbing the people in the next room. Next summer I am planning my first vist to the States and I have been checking out some excellent california vacation rentals, offering properties that are offered by the owners direct to you. There is always a much more personal feel in these holiday homes, and more home comforts than the cabins on a large holiday park. In California the area that I would love to see is the moutainous region around Lake Tahoe. It is much like the Alps, and there are miles of trails through pine forests to explore. I have seen several lake tahoe vacation rentals that will fit the bill, and I can’t wait to try the hot tub.
