If you are taking your cellphone (mobile phone) on your next trip, of course you need to tell your phone provider to open up the international network for your cellphone number.  Another traveller’s tip is to get a new cordless phone battery before you leave home, so that it will stay charged for the maximum time.   Remember also to take your cellphone charger and an electrical adaptor so that you can plug the phone in for recharging.
