If you are in Europe you must be aware of the abnormal Summer weather we are experiencing at present. The heatwave in southern Europe is connected with heavy flooding in many parts of the UK because an area of high pressure that normally protects the UK from Atlantic rain fronts has settled over the Azores instead. Aside from discussions about Climate change, there is a lot of market research that suggests Mediterranean holidaymakers are likely to visit early or late in the season in future, to avoid scorching midsummer temperatures and high UV levels. In mid July, temperatures in Greece are averaging 43C, and France,Spain and Italy are in drought conditions.
